The news comes from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department in Massachusetts, which apprehended the three suspects after the victim reported the crime to police at 1:43 a.m. on December 29, 2025.

When the man entered the room, the third assailant, Dominyck Sims, 28, of Worcester, was wielding a knife and demanded the victim hand over his belongings, including $1,500. Sims also reportedly told the victim not to report the crime to the authorities.

Sims, said the Lincoln Police, “threatened him (the victim) with a knife, and took the cash. After the incident, the victim was allowed to leave and was instructed not to contact authorities. Following an immediate and coordinated investigation, Lincoln Police officers apprehended all three suspects.”

Casino robbery suspects face charges

The Lincoln County Police have reported that all three suspects are now in custody and are facing charges related to the robbery incident.

The knife-brandishing Sims has been given multiple charges, including First Degree Robbery, Conspiracy, Weapons Other Than Firearms Prohibited, and Disorderly Conduct.

Tuckta-Warner faces First Degree Robbery and Conspiracy. While Machuca faces the same charges of First Degree Robbery, Conspiracy, and an additional charge of Disorderly Conduct.

“The Lincoln Police Department encourages the public to remain vigilant and exercise caution when interacting with unfamiliar individuals,” said the Lincoln Police Department statement. “We remain committed to protecting the safety of our residents and visitors alike.”

In related gambling robbery news, an announcement was made on the apprehension of a suspect who was alleged to have held up Little Creek Casino.

He was pursued after attempting to rob the location, and the chase involved multiple regional police task forces and K-9 units.

“Thanks to a joint investigation with Lewis County Narcotics Task Force (JNET), Thurston County Narcotics Task Force (TNT), HSI, FBI, Kent PD, Squaxin Island PD, and MCSO, the suspect from the armed robbery at Little Creek Casino has been arrested this evening in Kent,” the Mason County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post.

It’s not a bad or good first half of the year for Intralot, a gambling technology company based in Greece. The company, which as of 2023 has 1700 employees, posted a stagnant revenue report, which only grew by 1.7% year-on-year.

While the business hasn’t grown, it’s still a net positive period for Intralot. The company has begun to look into the future, rather than just the present. As such, it plans to enhance its results with the acquisition of Bally’s Interactive for 2.7 billion Euros ($2.8 billion).

The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, which will be split between a €1.53 billion cash payout and 873,707,073 shares priced at €1.30. This will make Bally’s the leading shareholder in the Intralot business.

Speaking in the report, Intralot chairman, Sokratis P. Kokkalis, said:

“INTRALOT’s results for the first half of 2025 reflect stable financial performance in terms of revenue and operating profitability, strengthened cash flows, and a significant reduction in debt and leverage.

“At the same time, Intralot has announced a pivotal strategic decision to acquire Bally’s International Interactive, which will transform the company by enhancing its growth capabilities in the modern digital environment and substantially expand its financial scale.”

Intralot expands its lottery offerings

On looking to the future, the company has renegotiated its deal with the Idaho Lottery to extend its deal for another decade. This will take effect in two years, September 2027. It will also continue to work with the Montana Lottery for a “next-generation lottery operating system” and other services. This partnership has lasted nearly 20 years, with the new contract extending it another seven years “with three one-year extension options.” In July, it was also selected to work on the Montana Lottery.

At the top of the year, Intralot was fined $6.5 million after it was found to violate Washington, D.C., contracting laws. D.C. requires large contracts to also involve smaller firms, keeping businesses alive. However, Intralot partnered with what was essentially a shell company, resulting in the fine.

Bally’s Chicago’s initial public offering (IPO), valued at $250 million, has been in limbo since its announcement eight months ago. Now, it’s moving forward after a series of lawsuits and various regulations scuppered its becoming available when Bally’s wanted it.

It’s now waiting on the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to give the green light to the gambling operator, with potential investors alerted to this on Wednesday, with a planned date set for August. The purpose of the $250 million IPO is to raise money to invest in its $1.7 billion casino resort.

Part of the letter, as reported by Casino.org, reads:

“With this filing completed, assuming no additional comments from the SEC, Bally’s Chicago is currently targeting to close both the IPO and the second tranche of the concurrent private placement in early August 2025.”

When it originally opened the IPO, it was exclusively targeted at women and minorities up to 25% of the investment going into the casino. However, since refiling, it is now open to anyone with “preferential allocations” for those living in Chicago and Illinois.

This can be tied to two lawsuits filed in Chicago, claiming discrimination against white men. Rather than deal with the headaches, one of which was dismissed on April 30, it appears that Bally’s is simply removing this requirement to get the ball rolling faster.

The second suit was settled with the plaintiffs, American Alliance for Equal Rights. This group is headed by Edward Jay Blum, with a focus on suing entities based on their diversity efforts.

Bally’s Chicago casino faces constant set backs

Chris Jewett, the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, said:

“There is definitely [investor] interest, for sure.”

Despite this, the casino itself has been in development hell. It was planned in 2022, with 500 rooms, a theatre that can hold 3000 people, and 10 restaurants. On top of this, there’s also a planned 4000 seats for gaming.

However, it’s now only really getting started and plans to open in 2026. In December 2024, construction debris spilled into the nearby river, forcing a demolition stoppage. The following May, the Illinois Gaming Board was forced to investigate the site after a waste hauler connected to the mob was found to be in use.

Speaking again, Jewett said:

“The tower crane just went up, steel is starting to get delivered.

“Hundreds of thousands of tons of steel are going to come in over time. The main building construct is steel and concrete.”
